Graduated in marine and coastal ecology from the University of La Rochelle (France), she worked in benthic ecology studies before specializing in bioacoustics. She is currently a doctorate student investigating the acoustic ecology of Amazon river dolphins. Her research at the LAB is focused on marine mammal vocal signals using automatic methods for detection and classification of species. Her current research interests also include extracting ecological information from soundscapes to assess biodiversity and community structures, as a proxy for good environmental status of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
