Experiments at sea

The experiments at sea have several objectives:

• Validation of the acoustic target models
• Providing material for the analysis of transmitted pulses by cetaceans in different ambient noise conditions
• Providing material for the analysis of background noise from different sound sources
• Providing material for the study of the bio-sonar intrinsic mechanism
• Testing the WACS technical demonstrator.
